Bill Whisler

Bill Whisler (born November 15, 1940) was a Canadian football player who played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, BC Lions and Montreal Alouettes. He won the Grey Cup with them in 1962.[1] He played college football at the University of Iowa. Whisler was drafted in the 1961 NFL draft by the Washington Redskins in Round 9 and was a late cut from the 1962 team.[2] He is a member of the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame and Winnipeg Blue Bombers Hall of Fame.[3]
