Baby Felix
Baby Felix (ベイビーフィリックス, Beibī Firikkusu) is a Japanese children's animated television program that follows the adventures of a young Felix the Cat and infant versions of the characters from Joe Oriolo's Felix television program from the 1950s. It is the third Felix television series. It was launched by Oriolo's son, Don Oriolo in 2000 with NHK Educational, NEC Interchannel and AEON Studios of Japan. The show consists of 26 half-hour episodes. It follows in the long line of "Baby Cartoon Revivals" alongside such shows as Muppet Babies, Baby Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry Kids, and The Flintstone Kids. All 26 episodes were released in Bulgaria on 9 DVDs by A-Design. In Italy the series aired during 2008 on Rai 2. In 2010, DVDs have been released in Hungary as well.

Summary
The story of a young, beautiful kitten named Baby Felix has a own backstory.
In the anime, Baby Felix was born by a beautiful star and was originally had a great-grandfather named Tristopher, who has been died of a stroke. He went to heaven and he promised that he return to his great-grandson.
One day, Tristopher send his beautiful great-grandson into a nursery school, while he was there, he meets a beautiful young kitten named Baby Kitty who has a aunt named Juliet.
They both fell in love and they both have a first kiss. Present day, Baby Felix discover his mystery, a little boy sealed in fire.
He realized who Sōra was, a girl who died tragically 90 years ago, she attacked him, and he gets angry at her.
Many Sōra’s family died after the girl’s death, the kitten defeat Sōra and sent her back to heaven, banishing her and sent her to hell by his great-grandfather.
Baby Kitty yelled at Baby Felix, kicking him out until he became nice. While crying, a cat named Felix cheers him up and Baby Kitty said sorry to him for what she did.
In return, Baby Felix is a sweetheart cat who passionate about chocolate.
Baby Felix is now befriended Sōra and sent her back to heaven after she says sorry to him.
In the unreleased 1998 manga, Baby Felix is a beautiful slave little boy, who has been chastised by the master. He is sent into a dark room and he was locked there for fifteen days.
After being punished, his future self, Felix, frees him and becomes him a beautiful young kitten, after being saved, he was so beautiful and Baby Kitty fells in love with him.
After Sōra’s death, the girl is sent to hell after she was banished to heaven for beating Baby Felix up. She gets mad at him.
She wanted to attack him, Baby Felix is strong than Sōra, he defeats her again, making her execute to burned at the stake.
One day, he and Baby Kitty had their kiss in the cheery tree, his female cousin, a student in an private all-girls boarding school in Himawari, Japan, visits him and reunited with him, Baby Kitty believed her that she was her future cousin-in-law.
Sōra said sorry to Baby Felix for what she did to him, he befriended her and she is now back to heaven.
The tales of Baby Felix and his friends find fun and frolic from their adventures.

Characters
- Baby Felix: The protagonist of the series, Baby Felix is a beautiful 3-year old cat who will do magic powers on his magic bag. He lives in his house in KittenVille, TinkyVille in season 2.
He meets Felix in the future and they became friends, he helps him to win in the baseball tournament and make him win. Despite his jealousy of the bull dogs, Baby Felix is kind, sweet, and good-natured, his future self was the wonderful cat so he will be grown up like him.
He is the great-grandson of the late Tristopher, a retired military commander from the world war era, died of a stroke after his birth. He always being gentle to him after his death.
Sometime later, a group of bulldogs bullied him. Then one day, he had enough, he gets revenge on them for melting the ice cream, but then Felix arrives and punished him for being bad, tooked the magic bag away.
After he’s punished by Felix, he gets sad about his magic bag being gone. His girlfriend Baby Kitty tells him what happened and where to know where his magic bag was, but he is afraid to tell her about the magic bag is being confiscated by Felix, then he walks away sadly.
As he was still sad, he had an idea, he will be responsible after being punished for being bad. When he was walking down the street, he saw the bulldogs’s house caught in fire, then, his magic bag is back for him and his punishment ended, turning him into a firefighter (which references him a magical boy transformation).
After Felix said sorry to him, he will forgave him about the magic bag. He forgave him after his magic bag is gone.
Before the series and manga begin, he had his enemy named Sōra, a high school girl who died after being burned alive by her ex-boyfriend Taigi 90 years ago. After he was attacked, he gets angry at Sōra and turned him into a magical cat to defeat her, otherwise, she gets defeated.
Sōra is sent to hell after she was banished from heaven by Baby Felix’s great-grandfather, who became a god. He gets jealous at Taigi, Sōra’s ex-boyfriend who had killed her, who now arrested from a crime.
Baby Felix and Sōra are now friends after they stopped being enemies and brings her back to heaven after the series begin.
He teams up with his pals as Sōra is still in heaven. She promises to him that she will return to him.
He had a female older cousin, who studied in a private girls’ boarding school called, Himawari Academy, and a male older cousin, who is an acrobat of the Shimazaki circus. He attends Lil’ Cow Pokes Daycare Center, and start his activity in the Bicycle Stage, an all-male activity stage.
Before of the start of the anime, his parents went on Paris for having a vacation when he was 2 years old, leaving him alone to stay with his grandparents (his mother’s parents).

He had an evil master who mistreats him for not good, but he’s good, after he saved his girlfriend Baby Kitty, the master chastise him and he will be locked him away in the dark room, but Felix saved him and gaves him a magic bag for him. After he flees away from the seminary, he’s now a student in the Lil’ Cow Pokes Daycare Center after he gets abandoned by his mother many years ago.
He is so awake, lovely, and also caring, he even has a girlfriend named Baby Kitty.
Baby Felix is voiced by Yumi Tōma, in the English dub, he is voiced by Denise Nejame.
- Felix: The main protagonist of the series, Felix is a beautiful wonderful adult cat and the future self of Felix. He is Kitty’s boyfriend and lives in his marriage house as he and Kitty are getting proposed in season 2.
In addition, he lose the baseball tournament by his enemy Rock Bottom, but he won by Baby Felix. Despite he’s mischievous and jealous, he is kind-hearted, cute, and loving, his past self wanted to grown up like him.
When he was born, he didn’t get to meet his great-grandfather Tristopher, who died of a stroke. His great-grandfather is a retired military commander from the world war era.
Sometime later, Baby Felix takes revenge on the bulldogs after they bullied him. He punishes him and takes away his magic bag until he became good, making him sad.
After Baby Felix’s punishment ended, he gaves back his magic bag to him. He forgaves him for what he did.
Sōra, Baby Felix’s former enemy, who later becomes her friend, meets Felix while helping him. He agrees him as she is now friends with Baby Felix.
He has two older cousins, a female and a male, who are Baby Felix’s cousins. He graduated from university and started his baseball career.
In the unreleased 1998 manga, Felix saved Baby Felix from the dark room and gives him a magic bag for him. He is the grandson of Dolly Cat.
He is smart, lovely, and of course pretty, he and Kitty are married in season 2.
Felix is voiced by Toshihiko Seki, in the English dub, he is voiced by Don Oriolo, a former Felix owner, who is now a Felix creator after his father Joe Oriolo died in 1985.
- Marin Kitty/Baby Kitty: The female protagonist of the series, Baby Kitty is a beautiful young lady and wants to be the famous Kitty Kat. She is best friends with Mimi and lives with her aunt, who didn’t appeared in the series.
She is lovely and cute, however, she couldn’t meet her future self Kitty because she hangs out with Felix. Baby Kitty is sweet and gorgeous, despite yelling at Baby Felix, she likes him.
Sometime later, after Baby Felix is punished by Felix and his magic bag is gone, she tells her boyfriend where his magic bag was. But he was afraid to talk to her about the magic bag is being confiscated by Felix, and he walks away sadly, she doesn’t know what happened to him.
Her aunt was a model, so she trys modeling like her. When Baby Felix acts strange and weird, she yells at him and goes back home, cancelling the date, but Baby Felix cheers her up and the date came back.
She attended in Lil’ Cow Pokes Daycare Center, and started her activity in the Dance Stage, an all-female activity stage.
In the unreleased 1998 manga, Baby Kitty was rescued by her boyfriend Baby Felix before he is chastised by his master in his old school, the seminary. She is the grand-niece of her grand-aunt after her mother died from illness when she was a newborn baby.
She is friendly and helpful and she is also compassionate about modeling, she has a boyfriend named Baby Felix.
Baby Kitty is voiced by Ai Maeda, in the English dub, she is voiced by Jennifer Brassard.
- Skippy: One of the main characters of the series, Skippy is a clumsy dog who knows to have baseball. He is seen at the beginning with the gang while Baby Felix loses his baseball practice.
He has an aunt and uncle and his parents died of a car accident or not seen when he was a newborn baby, he is a gentle and smart dog.
He attends in Baby Felix’s school and his activity is the Bicycle Stage.
In the unreleased 1998 manga, Skippy lost his father from a truck accident. He’s cool since his school years, when he was 1 year old, his aunt was arrested from stealing, but his aunt was innocent.
He’s cute, loving and adorable, unlike Baby Felix, he did not have a crush.
Skippy is voiced by Motoko Kumai.
- Mookie: One of the main characters of the series, Mookie is a funny mouse who has a passion of fishing. He had a father thus mother was not seen or dead.
He is very clumsy and was best friends to Skippy, although he was very clumsy, he was quite funny.
He was a caring mouse, and he has a crush on Mimi.
Mookie is voiced by Noko Konoha.
- Mimi: One of the main characters of the series, Mimi is a beautiful young girl who is lovely and cute. She has a mother and a younger sister, her father was not seen or dead.
She is Baby Felix’s gold-hearted pal who is a best friend of Baby Kitty, she is a lovely mouse in Japan, America in season 2.
She is sweet and curious, and she is also gorgeous, calm, and caring, she has a crush on Mookie.
Mimi is voiced by Atsuko Enomoto, in the English dub, she is voiced by Jennifer Brassard.
- Tattoo: One of the main characters of the series, Tattoo is a informer of the gang. He has a grandfather as his parents was not seen.
He can only whitsle, he and Skippy trained Baby Felix to be a baseball player, he’s always ready to excitement to make the kids laugh for his dancing and singing.
He is smart and genius, just like Skippy, he doesn’t have a crush.
Tattoo is voiced by Hisayo Mochizuki.
- Sōra: Known by her full name Sōra Kashimizu and one of the main characters of the series, Sōra is a high school 16-year old student girl who studied biology. She is a teenage girl who is the member of the cheerleader of her school, the Himasawa High School.
Since she is a teen in 1933, she was beautiful and a boy named Taigi fell in love with her. She met him and they both have a first kiss in kindergarten.
She is a human girl and she is pretty, selfless, and loving. When Sōra’s onomastic and her brother Kaishi’s 19th birthday is celebrating at the park, she got into a fight with Taigi and broke up with him because he is a assassin, causing her to cry and being consoled by her brother Kaishi, making the boy to be a stalker to her.
When Sōra had a new boyfriend named Tagato, she celebrates her mother Akiko’s birthday in the restaurant at Tokyo. Taigi got jealous and wants her to be with her, as she goes outside to let her hair down, Taigi kidnaps his ex-girlfriend and brings her to the street, burning her alive on the day on November 28th 1933.
Her homicide was started in June 16th 1934. She is sent to heaven and became a angel, present day, she was originally enemies with Baby Felix, but they became friends at the start from the series.
After she was banished from heaven and sent to hell, she is back to heaven after she befriends Baby Felix. Her family is killed in a car crash in 1940 after her brother married a model named Saigi and had a 5-year old daughter named Kikinada.
She didn’t appear in the series sadly, because she is still in heaven. But she promises to come back with Baby Felix soon.
- Bull/Biff: The mean bulldogs of the series, they are named Biff, Derek and Zeke, as they bully Baby Felix a lot.
They loved to have revenge and prank on Baby Felix, but the kitten has had enough and revenged them. After being punished by Felix, Baby Felix realizes that he was wrong and he will make his punishment ended to apologize to them.
They are also mean towards to Baby Felix and his pals, they don’t have a crush, but with cheerleader dog girls.
The bulldogs are voiced by Tesshō Genda.
- Rock Bottom: A former baseball player, Rock Bottom is Felix’s arch enemy who wants to lose him. He has a dislike about Felix and got into a big fight because Felix wants to win the baseball, so he challenges him into a baseball tournament.
After Felix wins the baseball, he was expelled by Felix's coach and boss for hating Felix, despite his dismissal for his baseball tournament, he promises that the Professor will come to him.
During this, Rock Bottom doesn’t appear in season 2, he has a wife, but she divorced him because he is dismissed in his tournament, making him jobless.
Rock Bottom is voiced by Kōichi Nagano, who shares the same voice as Master Cylinder.
- Taigi Mizunada: An elderly man who is a serial killer when he was a teenager, Taigi is Sōra’s ex-boyfriend when he cheats on her with a beautiful girl named Sirie Koshimizu. He is originally being gentle, but now he’s scary and wild.
He fell in love with Sōra because she is beautiful and they met since kindergarten.
After he got into a fight with Sōra, he gets jealous at her and wanted to be with her after they broke up after she found out that he fell in love with Sirie. He kidnaps her and burn her alive, making her homicide started after her death in 1933.
In 1939, he married Sirie and had a son named Tashiko, who is also a serial killer, and a daughter named Tashika, born in 1956, who is a stay-at-home mother of two children who doesn’t like killers.
Present day, when he arrived at KittenVille, Baby Felix starts to challenging him for killing Sōra 90 years ago. When they challenged, Sōra reunites with her ex-boyfriend for a long time, she gets upset at him and defeats him with her ice power.
He, his wife and his son are arrested for being a serial killer, leaving his daughter alone, who became upset at them. Tashika is the only one in his family to be good and befriends with Sōra and Baby Felix.
He didn’t appear in the series due to his arrest.
- Zoo: The character in this series, Zoo is very compassionate about baseball. He shows to be friends with Felix since 2 years old.
Unlike his parents, he has an unnamed ancestor. He is loyal and genius and deeply cares about the coach, he is also genius.
After being married his wife, he departed from Spain with his wife because he had a son, he promises that he will meet Baby Felix.
Zoo is voiced by Kōichi Sakaguchi.
- Professor: An antagonist of season 1, the professor is a mad scientist who has a nephew named Poindexter. He gets jealous at Baby Felix, his plan is to steal his magic bag when he did it after capturing Felix.
After Baby Felix escapes like Felix, he gets failed several times, he was genius, but bad.
Despite being a mad scientist, he had a sister, which means the mother of Poindexter, but she doesn't appear in the franchise because she abandons her son to departure in Paris.
The Professor is voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa, in the English dub, he is voiced by Don Oriolo.
- Master Cylinder: The professor’s robot, Master Cylinder was created by his owner in order to stop Baby Felix for escaping. He’s quite genius and in fact he’s just a robot.
He sacrifices everything has for Poindexter’s geniuses after Poindexter’s mother departures in Paris after she abandons her son into her brother’s house to start modeling in Paris.
He is strong, while being a robot, he has a former assistant, who expels him for failing.
Master Cylinder is voiced by Kōichi Nagano, who shares the same voice as Rock Bottom.
- Poindexter: The professor’s nephew, Poindexter lives with his uncle after his mother abandoning him for departing in Paris to become a model. He went into school for scientists to become a genius scientist.
Despite his mother was not seen, he was his uncle’s nephew in order to became bad like him, but he’s quite good.
He has a passion for Baby Kitty because she is beautiful, but Baby Felix falls in love with her because he’s beautiful, Poindexter sadly didn’t meet Felix, but he promises to reunite with him in Season 2.
Poindexter is voiced by Kappei Yamaguchi, in the English dub, he is voiced by Don Oriolo.
- Akiko Kashimizu: Sōra’s mother, Akiko is a loving woman who graduated at her daughter’s school. She is also the mother-in-law of Saigi and the grandmother of Kikinada.
She met her husband in her daughter’s school and they both fell in love. They married and have a son, Kaishi, 5 years after Kaishi, their daughter Sōra was born.
Her ex-boyfriend abuses her when she was 15 years old and her husband saved her and made him arrested and execute.
On 1933, on her birthday, her daughter Sōra was burned alive by her ex-boyfriend Taigi, which causing her to be sad. In 1940, she and her family are both killed in a car crash when they traveled to Paris.
She didn’t appear in the series as she is still in heaven with her daughter and family.
- Kaishi Kashimizu: Sōra’s older brother, Kaishi is a freshman in university after he graduated from high school. He is the husband of Saigi and the father of Kikinada.
He is a 19 year-old university student where he meets his wife Saigi to fell in love with her. He’s now 26 years old in 1940 after his younger sister’s homicide.
When Sōra broke up with Taigi on his birthday, he gets jealous at him for making his sister cry. Taigi couldn’t stand him after he became cold and distant.
His sister, on his mom’s birthday, was burned alive by her ex-boyfriend Taigi, which he consoles his mother.
In 1940, he and his family are killed in a car crash after his sister’s homicide. They went to heaven to see his sister.
He doesn’t appear in the series. But he meets Baby Felix as Sōra and him befriended.
- Marie D’Artois: Baby Felix’s French ancestor, Marie is the daughter of captain Louis D’Artois and the late Madame Adélaïde D’Artois (née Savoy). After her mother’s death when she was five, she is raised beautiful, unique, and sensible, she becomes a ballet dancer with her childhood best friend Gabrielle Louvois, in 1880, she married the butcher Edward Maine and have a daughter Anne Maine, when her friend Gabrielle is pregnant by her ex-boyfriend, she offers her to stay at her home.
When Gabrielle’s daughter, Lorraine of Bavaria, is born, Anne started to befriend Lorraine, Marie is upset at her friend Gabrielle’s ex-boyfriend, when in 1885, the Paris had an government in France, Marie and her husband Edward found out that Gabrielle is killed by her ex-boyfriend and Anne and Lorraine are murdered from the explosion. Marie tried to warm her husband, but he dies due to a shot, the young woman, couldn’t believe that her friend Gabrielle’s memories, she jumps herself and stays with her mother.
She is now an angel, however, she didn’t appear in the series when she met her descendant Baby Felix.
