2023 Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team

The 2023 Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team represented the University of Notre Dame, located in Notre Dame, Indiana, in the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball season. The team was led by head coach Shawn Stiffler, in his 1st season as head coach, and played home games at the on-campus Frank Eck Stadium as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Previous season

The 2022 team finished the season with a 41–17 record and a 16–11 record in ACC play. They went 2–1 in the ACC tournament, 3–0 in the Statesboro Regional, and 2–1 in the Knoxville Super Regional where they defeated the overall number-one seed Tennessee. In the 2022 College World Series, the Fighting Irish defeated Texas in the first round, before falling to Oklahoma and Texas A&M in the second round.[2]
