2023 Michigan Tech Huskies football team

The 2023 Michigan Tech Huskies football team represented Michigan Tech University as a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) during the 2023 NCAA Division II football season. Led by sixth-year head coach Steve Olson, the Huskies have an overall record of 5–3 with a mark of 1–3 in conference play. The Huskies participated in eleven games in the 2022 season, going 4–7 overall and 2–4 in conference play.[1]

Coaching changes

After going 4–7 (2–4 GLIAC) in their 2022 campaign, Michigan Tech Athletics announced that Head Coach Steve Olson would not be coming back for a 7th season, and their Offensive Coordinator, Dan Mettlach, would be taking over.[2][3]
