Pre-season and friendlies

On 8 June, Shrewsbury Town announced their first pre-season friendly, against Notts County.[25] Six days later, a second was added, against Coventry City.[26] A behind-closed-doors meeting with West Bromwich Albion was next to be added.[27] On July 5, a fourth friendly against Stourbridge was confirmed.[28]
