2023–24 Golden State Warriors season

The 2023–24 Golden State Warriors season is the 78th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), their 62nd in the San Francisco Bay Area, and their fifth season at the Chase Center. This is the Warriors' tenth season with Steve Kerr as head coach and the first season since 2011-12 without former general manager Bob Myers.[1]

The Warriors only held their first round pick (19th overall) in the 2023 NBA draft.[2] The team traded their second round pick in 2019 as part of a deal to acquire the draft rights of Alen Smailagić.[3] They acquired the 57th pick from the Washington Wizards in exchange for cash considerations.[4]

This will be the first regular season where all the NBA teams will compete in a mid-season tournament setting due to the implementation of the 2023 NBA In-Season Tournament.[5][6] During the in-season tournament period, the Warriors will compete in Group C of the Western Conference, which will include the Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, and San Antonio Spurs.
