2012 Omega Pharma–Quick-Step season

The 2012 season for Omega Pharma–Quick-Step began in January at the Tour Down Under. As a UCI ProTeam, they were automatically invited and obligated to send a squad to every event in the UCI World Tour.

At the end of the 2011 season, Omega Pharma parted company with co-sponsors Lotto after seven seasons together, and later rejoined the former Quick Step team; announcing a deal prior to their split with Lotto, in August.[1]
