The Fedida Gambit is a sharp gambit line for white in the Réti opening. It has been played by the French player Samuel Fedida in 2019, but has rarely been seen at the highest levels of competition.
White sacrifices a pawn to gain pressure on both the queen side and the king side. With care, Black can manage to keep his additional pawn, at the cost of a lot of pressure on the Black king.
The Gambit can be refused with 3. ... b5, which transposes into a line of the regular Réti Opening.
