Suomusjärvi is a former municipality in Finland Proper, today part of Salo. It was a common stop on present highway 110 when it was highway 1. The administrative centre was Kitula, while the former parish village is 3 km farther towards Helsinki.

Regional road 110 (the old Turku–Helsinki road) runs through the village and serves as the main street in the centre of the village. Highway 1 (E18) between Turku and Helsinki runs 1 km north of the village. The former parish village of Suomusjärvi (Suomusjärvi kk) is 3 km farther towards Helsinki along road 110, then 1.5 km to the south.
