Moyenne Guinee is a region of Guinea. It includes the mountain range of Fouta-Djalon and the plains of the Tominé and Koulountou rivers.
Cities
- 🌍 Labé — the largest city of the region, and the second largest in the country
- 🌍 Dalaba — the highest town in Guinea (~1,300 m altitude). South African singer Miriam Makeba ("Pata Pata") lived here while in exile in Guinea from 1969 to 1985.
- 🌍 Koundara — the first major town in Guinea when coming from Senegal via N5 or from Guinea-Bissau via N9.

This mountainous, cool area is also known as Fouta Djallon and is populated mostly by the Pular people (Peuls). It includes all of Mamou and Labe provinces and the northern part of Boke province.
