The railway station is relatively far from down town, the destinations are Košice, Humenné and Michaľany.
The distance from the center to the station and the relative distance of the city's main lines makes the bus much more convenient and faster to reach the city. Numerous buses leave the bus station in Košice, situated right next to the train station, for Michalovce.
For Ukraine, the bus between Košice and Uzhhorod are stopping in Michalovce.
