La Toussuire is one of the six ski resorts of Les Sybelles, the 4th biggest ski areas in France. It is located in Maurienne Valley in Savoie.

Visitor information

Get in

Get out of the highway of the Maurienne by A43 exit 'Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne'. Then, follow the Vallée de l'Arvan (D78). You will enter in La Toussuire just after passing the Camping Caravaneige du Col. There is a enormous parking juste behind the building range in the downtown of the ski resort.

Do

Winter season

During the official winter season of the ski resort, between mid-December to mid-March, you can ski on the mountain.

There are 33 slopes: 4 green slopes, 4 blue slopes, 17 red slopes and 1 black slope. Total distance is 55 km.

Summer season

Summer season starts at the beginning of July, and end at the end of August. It is the good season to do hiking, rafting or canyoning.

Buy

At the bottom of the ski slopes, there are stores where you can buy ski clothes. You will also find a few markets to buy daily basic things, with some minimarkets and supermarkets.
