  • ๐ŸŒ Kurikka church. Yellow stone church, with an older belfry, seating 1000 persons. Next to it there's a cemetery with war memorials.
  • ๐ŸŒ Jurva church. Representing early 19th century Gustavian architecture.
  • ๐ŸŒ Moose statue (Kurikan hirvi). One of Kurikka's symbols, a statue of a moose welcoming visitors to the town.
  • ๐ŸŒ Legenda statue. A statue of the local legend, Juha Mieto, who was one of the world's most successful cross country skiers in the 1970s and early 1980s. These days Mr. Mieto is a public person who has served as a member of the parliament, and an unofficial champion in eating mรคmmi each Easter.
  • ๐ŸŒ Kurikka museum, Museotie 17. A set of 19th century houses with the interiors from the same period, showcasing local life back then.
  • ๐ŸŒ Museum locomotive Risto. Steam locomotive standing next to the disused railway station.

  • ๐ŸŒ Botniaring, Kauhajoentie 688 (10 km south of Jurva village). Race track, mostly for national races.

  • ๐ŸŒ Wanha Asema, Laurintie 28. M-Sa 10:30-15:00. The "old station" lunch buffet restaurant is housed in the former railway station.
