The western main north-south railway goes through Kronoby town, and there's a station building, but trains don't stop there.

By plane

Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport is in Kronoby. There are daily flights from Helsinki, Kemi with Finnair and more rarely from Stockholm and Copenhagen with Nextjet.

By bus

Buses connect from Vaasa, Jakobstad and Kokkola.

By car

Highway 8 passes next to the town.
