Lake Huascacocha (Huánuco)
Lake Huascacocha[1] (possibly from Quechua waskha or waska: rope; or wask'a: rectangle, long; and qucha: lake)[2][3][4] or Lake Huacacocha[5] is a lake in Peru located in Huánuco Region, Lauricocha Province, Jesús District.[1] Lake Huascacocha lies in the north of the Raura mountain range, west of lakes Patarcocha and Chuspi.[1][5]
