Uttar Pradesh United Democratic Front
Uttar Pradesh United Democratic Front (abbr. UPUDF) also called ad United Democratic Front was a political party founded by Syed Ahmed Bukhari, Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid on 10 June 2006.[1][2] The party was allied with 6 other parties including All India Muslim Majlis (Dr. Faridi), Parcham Party of India, National Loktantrik Party and All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat.[3][4] It was founded against the Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajwadi Party and Bharatiya Janata Party to fight for the Voice of Muslims.[5][6][7]

Controversies
- The Party candidate Shami Ullah alias Abdul Shami Qasmi, a Darul Uloom Deoband graduate who fought 2007 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Suar Assembly constituency, was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh ATS and NIA Delhi in illegal relation with Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.[8][9]
- The non-bailable warrant was issued against Party President Shahi Imam Ahmed Bukhari due to landing of Helicopter without Permission at the Sitasharan Inter College in the Khatauli Assembly constituency for the campaign of candidate Sabir Ali.[10][11]

The Uttar Pradesh United Democratic Front had contested 33 seats in 2007 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. The only winner was Haji Yaqub Qureshi from Meerut Assembly Constituency.[12]
