Tomasz Gruszczyński

Tomasz Gruszczyński (born 4 December 1980) is a Polish former footballer who last played as a striker for US Thionville Lusitanos.[1]

Early life

Gruszczyński moved to France at the age of eleven.[2]

Youth career

As a youth player, Gruszczyński joined the youth academy of French side FC Metz, where he played alongside Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor.[3]

Career

In 2022, Gruszczyński signed for Luxembourgian side F91 Dudelange, where he was regarded as one of the club's most important players.[4] He helped them win the league.[5] He is their all-time top scorer with 129 goals.[6] In 2012, he signed for Luxembourgian side FC Progrès Niederkorn.[7]

Gruszczyński played as a striker and right-winger for F91 Dudelange.[8]

Post-playing career

After retiring from professional football, Gruszczyński worked as head of a window installation business.[9]

Personal life

Gruszczyński is the father of footballer Kelya Gruszczyński.[10] He is the son of Polish footballer Ryzsard Gruszczyński.[11]
