Taiji (disambiguation)
Taiji is a concept in Daoist philosophy, often translated as the "supreme ultimate". In the Wade-Giles system of romanizing Chinese, taiji is written "t'ai chi". The symbol of taiji is the taijitu, which is composed of yin and yang.
It is also the root of the word tai chi, which in Chinese is "taijiquan" (literally meaning "taiji boxing").
