Tabalong Regency

Tabalong Regency is the most northerly of the regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan, on Borneo island. It has an area of 3,553.36 km2, and had a population at the 2010 Census of 218,620[3] and 253,305 at the 2020 Census;[4] the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 261,353 (comprising 132,537 males and 128,816 females).[1] The administrative capital is the town of Tanjung. Motto: "Saraba Kawa" (Banjarese).

The Regency is divided into twelve districts (Indonesian: kecamatan), tabulated below with their areas and population totals from the 2010 Census[3] and the 2020 Census,[4] together with the official estimates for mid 2022.[1] The table also includes the locations of the district administrative centres, the number of administrative villages in each district (a total of 121 rural desa and 10 urban kelurahan), and its postal codes.
