International career

Shawaal represented Pakistan U19 in the inaugural edition of the ICC Women's U19 World Cup in South Africa in January 2023.[1][2] In July 2023, she was named in Pakistan's squad for the Asian Games.[3][4] In August 2023, she was awarded a central contract by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).[5] In August 2023, she was named in Pakistan's squad for the T20 series against South Africa.[6] She made her Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut for Pakistan, against South Africa, on 1 September 2023. In September 2023, she was named in Pakistan's squad for the ODI series against South Africa.[7] She made her Women's One Day International (WODI) debut for Pakistan, against South Africa, on 8 September 2023.
