Serhiy Lysak
Serhiy Lysak (Ukrainian: Сергій Петрович Лисак) is a former agent of the Security Service of Ukraine who is since 7 February 2023 Governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.[1][2]

Lysak participated in the War in Donbas in the years 2014 and 2015 and in 2017.[2]
From May 2020 to July 2022, Lysak headed the Department of Security of Zhytomyr Oblast.[2] Following the February 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine he fought against the Russian occupation of the region.[2] On 25 March 2022 President Volodymyr Zelenskyy by decree promoted Lysak to the rank of brigadier general.[2] In July 2022 he was appointed the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.[2]
On 7 February 2023, President Zelenskyy appointed Lysak the new Governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.[1][2]
