Sagoo is a Jat sikh clan [1] Sikh people of Punjab.

Origin
They are the descendants of Baba Saggu, a 13th-century saint and warrior.
Geographical distribution
They live in Punjab region including the districts of Sargodha and Lahore districts of Pakistan. In India they reside in the Indian states of Haryana and Punjab. Most members are Sikh, while a minority follow Hinduism and Islam. As of the 1881 census of British India, there were 7,912 Saggu families.
