• Chanos chanos (Southeast Asia and Mexico), a.k.a. "milkfish"
• Elops saurus (Dominican Republic), a.k.a. "ladyfish" or "ten-pounder"
• Megalops atlanticus (Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela, United States, etc.), a.k.a. "tarpon"
