Roselinda Soipan Tuiya

Roselinda Soipan Tuya (44) is a Kenyan politician serving as Cabinet secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry since 2022. She is the first Masaai woman to be in the Cabinet of Kenya.[1]

Education

She attended The Kenya High School for her secondary education (Class of 1998), then the University of Nairobi graduating with a Bachelor of Laws, and thereafter the University of Washington passing with a Masters of Laws.[2]


Political career

Tuiya served as women's representative for Narok County from 2013 to 2022.[1]

Family

Tuya is the daughter of former Narok South MP Samson Ole Tuiya.[3]
