Roman Vorobey (footballer, born 1994)

Roman Vorobey (Ukrainian: Роман Валентинович Воробей; born 22 February 1994) is a Ukrainian former football midfielder.

Career

Vorobey is a product of his native Chernihiv's Yunist Chernihiv youth sportive school system. The sports school is known for its talent players like Andriy Yarmolenko,[1] Pavlo Polehenko, Serhiy Kovalenko, Vladyslav Shapoval,[2] Pavlo Fedosov, Yuriy Maley,[3] Oleksiy Khoblenko,[4] Dimitry Mironenko[5]Andriy Fedorenko, [6] and Nika Sichinava.[7]

He played in the different Ukrainian amateur and Second League clubs. In March 2015 Vorobey signed a contract with FC Skala[8] and in July 2015 returned in the Belarusian Premier League club FC Slavia Mozyr.
