Walker's Beauty Shoppes.[3] In the 1960's WERD shared the lodge with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.[4] "In 2019 the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge of Georgia and Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park began partnering to tell the story of King’s activities with the SCLC and the history of the organizations that occupied the Masonic Building."[1] The Temple is currently undergoing a renovation, and will be turned into a 1600 sq. ft. multi-use space.[2]
It became listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing building in the National Historic Landmark District in 1980.
