Phyllonorycter rongensis

Phyllonorycter rongensis is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is found in the Albertine Rift valley in Kenya.[1]

The length of the forewings is 2.7 mm.[1] The forewing is elongate and the ground colour is golden ochreous with white markings.[1] The hindwings are narrow, elongate and pointed and the ground colour is pale fuscous.[1] Adults are on wing in early January.[1]

Etymology

The species is named after its type locality, Rongai.[1]
