Ohangwena Regional Library

Ohangwena Regional Study and Resource Center (ORSRC) is a state of art library at the heart of Helao Nafidi Town Council.[1][2] The library opened its doors in 2014, and it was officially opened by then the president of the Republic of Namibia, Dr. Hifikepunye Pohamba.

The library is one of three regional libraries (the other two are in Oshakati, Oshana; and Gobabis, Omaheke). These libraries are also known as Regional Study and Resource Centers (RSRCs), and were funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (Namibia Account) at a cost of N$167 million[3] Majority of learners in the townships of Eenhana and the surrounding areas make use of this library to study and also to look for information related to their researches for the high institutions students. It is a neat and quite place where your heart will feel at peace which ease the studies.[4]

Funding

This library was made possible by the funding from Millennium Challenge Account in partnership with the National Library and Archive Services (NLAS), a division of the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture (MoEAC)[5]

Services

The RSRC provides a wide range of services from computer training and business programs to printing services and study spaces to the diverse clienteles from Ohangwena Region and beyond[6]
