Office of Long COVID Research and Practice

The Office of Long COVID Research and Practice is an office of the US Department of Health and Human Services formed to coordinate the US government's efforts to research long COVID and support affected patients.[1][2][3] The office is under the leadership of the HHS Assistant Secretary for Health and will aid collaboration among the 14 government agencies currently researching long COVID.[4] While the office was small as of its founding, with funding for only two full-time employees, it will hire contractors and be staffed with employees from other offices of Health and Human Services.[1]
