Neerja – Ek Nayi Pehchaan is an Indian Hindi-language romantic action drama Thriller television series that premiered on 10 July 2023 on Colors TV and digital streaming platform JioCinema. Produced under Sunshine Productions, it stars Aastha Sharma,[1] Rajveer Singh, Kamya Panjabi and Sneha Wagh.[2]

Production

Casting

In April 2023, it was announced that Bengali actress Debchandrima Singha Roy would play the lead role, but Aastha Sharma was roped in for Neerja's role.[4] Vivian Dsena[5] was the first choice for the male lead but Rajveer Singh was cast opposite Sharma.[6]

Kamya Punjabi, Sneha Wagh, Ayub Khan and Aayushi Bhave roped in for important roles.

Development and release

First promo of the show release on 7 May 2023 featured Myra Vaikul[7] and Sneha Wagh as little Neerja and Protima respectively.[8]

On 19 May 2023, channel unveil the second promo of show featuring Myra, Sneha and Kamya.

On 19 June 2023, channel announced the launch date and time slot of the show with third promo.

Filming

In April 2023, The filming of show started in Kolkata and Mumbai.
