Mason Thames

Mason Thames is an American actor. He is best known for his starring role in Scott Derrickson's horror film The Black Phone (2021).[1]

Career

Thames was featured in three episodes of the first season of the Apple TV+ series For All Mankind in 2019.[2] He was then cast as Robbie Knievel in Evel, a biographical drama based on the life of Evel Knievel, however production was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3][4]

Thames played the lead role in Scott Derrickson's horror film The Black Phone (2021),[5] alongside Ethan Hawke.[6][7] The role garnered him widespread acclaim, and the film received generally positive reviews from critics.[8] He also featured as a Young Walker in the first two seasons of Walker.[9][10]

Thames will next star alongside Mel Gibson in Boys of Summer, an indie feature directed by David Henrie.[11] He will also star in the high school comedy Incoming,[12] and in a live-action adaptation of How To Train Your Dragon, alongside Nico Parker.[13]
