Marcus S. Evans

Marcus S. Evans (born 1970) is a United States Army major general who has served as commanding general of the 25th Infantry Division since August 25, 2023.[1][2] He most recently served as the Chief of Staff of the United States Special Operations Command from September 2021 to August 2023. Previously, he was the Commander of the NATO Special Operations Component Command–Afghanistan and Special Operations Joint Task Force–Afghanistan.[3][4][5][6][7]
