María Francisca Bello
María Francisca Campos Bello (born 17 September 1987) is a Chilean psychologist, feminist and politician of Socialist Party serving as a member of Chilean Chamber of Deputies from District 6 since 2021.[1] Her election is historic being the first woman Deputy elected from Aconcagua.[2][3]

Background and career
María Francisca Bello was born in Santiago and raised in San Felipe where she attended Girls’ High School before proceeding to Andres Bello University for a degree in psychology. She picked interest in politics in her teen years and identified with Socialist Party. At the Andres Bello University, she was an active member of the Student Federation politics. She ran for the mayor of San Felipe in the 2021 municipal election but was defeated.[4][5] Same year, she ran in the parliamentary election for Deputies and won the District 6 on the nomination of Approve Dignity AD, a coalition of political parties. She is one of the few openly bisexual Deputies advocating sexual diversity in the parliament.[6][7][8]
In 2022, she cried out about her identity being impersonated on Instagram offering adults contents. She reported the case to the PDI and stated that "I cannot deprive myself of dancing or dressing the way I want because a malicious person is going to use photos in a bad way."[9]
