Maa Vatsala Bhavani Temple is located in Pharpar village of Sheikhpura district, Bihar.[1] People of Nonia-Chauhan caste consider Maa Vatsala Bhavani as their family deity.[2]

Events
A large fair is held annually at the temple,[3] which many devotees travel to attend.[4] This fair was started by Rajendra Chauhan and Vijay Chauhan.[5] Bihar ministers have began efforts to give the fair the status of state fair.[6][7]
