Luz Adriana López

Luz Adriana López Ayala (born May 10, 1997) is a Colombian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Earth Colombia 2023, and will represent Colombia at Miss Earth 2023 pageant.

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is López and the second or maternal family name is Ayala.

Personal life

Luz Adriana López was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1997 coming from a family of Florencia, Caquetá. She is an environmental engineer from the Universidad de los Andes, with a diploma in strategic sustainable thinking.[1]

She is currently pursuing a specialization in project management for results (PM4R) at the Inter-American Development Bank (BID by its acronym in Spanish) and works at the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Colombia, additionally Luz is an entrepreneur, model and dancer.[2]

Miss Universe Colombia 2021

López participated in the second edition of the Miss Universe Colombia contest that took place on Monday, 18 October 2021 at the Chamorro City Hall in the city of Bogotá, competing against 24 other applicants for the title but was unplaced; the winner of the contest was Valeria Ayos from Cartagena.[3][4]

Miss Earth Colombia 2023

López competed for the Miss Earth Colombia 2023 contest; the final took place on 29 April 2022 in Montenegro, Quindío.[5][6] At the end of the event, she was crowned Miss Earth Colombia 2023 by her predecessor, Andrea Aguilera from Antioquia.[7]
