Love Contractually

Love Contractually is a 2017 Chinese romantic comedy film directed by Liu Guonan and starring Sammi Cheng and Joseph Chang.[2] It was released in China by Horgos Bona Media and Huaxia Film Distribution on 14 February 2017.[1]

Plot

Xiao Bo is a courier delivery person who is doing the job to find money to fund his nephew's ear implant surgery on his classic motorbike, which is modified to do the job and Ye Jin a beautiful CEO is jilted out of love due to her fiance cheating which caused her to hate the color yellow as Ye Jin frequently sees them exchanging love discussions via a yellow notepad forcing the employees of Ye Jin to repeatedly clear items that are yellow in nature which often comes into a commotion.

Then Ye Jin came up with a revelation with her secretary of pregnancy without marriage via In vitro fertilisation (IVF) via a surrogate sperm donor and told her assistant to secretly handle such matters in finding the sperm donor. The assistant then set up a fake job interview where Ye Jin vets the potential sperm thought it was for a personal assistant job. Upon screening multiple candidates, nothing came true, and Ye Jin called it quit, not before Xiao Bo, who was delivering a package to Ye Jin saw the advert for the personal assistant, not knowing it was a sperm donation, and thought it was worth it as he needed the money.

A vengeful ex-staff of Ye Jin was mad for being dismissed for falsifying information tries to stab Ye Jin only to be saved by Xiao Bo, which made Ye Jin felt a connection and gave him an interview when Xiao Bo said he was interested in the job. Xiao Bo was pretty much a klutz and was tardy in his job to which Ye Jin was not happy and threatened to sack Xiao Bo. Then one day to an important meeting with a big client, Xiao Bo was stuck in traffic twice not until he asked for his bike to which his friend came through and Ye Jin reluctantly sat and made it just in time to meet the big client who was amazed at Ye Jin for being a CEO who is willing to seat a motorbike and also that the client loved the classical bikes as well and the client agreed to be a partner which made Ye Jin look at Xiao Bo in a new light.

Then Ye Jin got a call from a care center to which Xiao Bo drove Ye Jin to the care center, and there was Ye Jin father who suffers from Alzheimer's and Xiao Bo criticises Ye Jin for how she treats her father. Xiao Bo secretly brought her father to Ye Jin house and Ye Jin was mad at Xiao Bo to which made Xiao Bo quit and then Ye Jin sent a sms asking for penalty for unilaterally canceling the sperm donation contract but later tells the reason why she is hostile to her father and Ye Jin also asked why Xiao Bo was so adamant in finding a lot of money where he tells Ye Jin that he needs money to raise surgery money for his nephew. They drank wines and then slept side by side till the next morning.

Ye Jin and Xiao Bo then set of to Paris for the In vitro fertilisation (IVF) process; Ye Jin friend saw that both Ye Jin and Xiao Bo love each other but Ye Jin was hellbent on carrying the baby without Xiao Bo; the IVF process was a success and Ye Jin saw how Xiao Bo was with the kids at the party which was hosted by Ye Jin best friend Sophie and her husband.

Xiao Bo nephew ear surgery was a success and all that Xiao Bo could think of is Ye Jin and their unborn baby. Xiao Bo then made a storybook on the love that occurred between Bo and Ye Jin and shipped it to France, where Ye Jin stayed for the period of the pregnancy, not knowing that Ye Jin had suffered from a miscarriage and suffered depression. When Ye Jin received the package, it just amplifies her depression to which she disappeared from the home which worries Sophie and her husband. Xiao Bo then arrives to the same house and learns that Ye Jin suffers from depression from her miscarriage.

Sophie's husband managed to find Ye Jin at a cliff, and they went to find her. Xiao Bo told her the story of the fallen soldier who died while skydiving was his older brother and told Ye Jin if she wants to die, he will follow her to die. Xiao Bo then hugged Ye Jin as they fall down the cliff, Xiao Bo parachute opened and they flew across the skies of France till they landed on a Cathedral where Xiao Bo and Ye Jin was passionately kissing one another. An epilogue sees Xiao Bo and Ye Jin have 2 adorable babies.
