List of slums in Pakistan

This is a list of slums in Pakistan.

  • Parts of Orangi.[1] However, only some parts can be characterized as slums, now it is a municipality.
  • Parts of Machar Colony
  • Parts of Lyari Town
  • In comparison to neighboring countries, Pakistan exhibits the highest proportion of slums relative to its total urban population. According to Unicef, Karachi and Hyderabad alone host approximately 1,300 slums.[2][3]
