List of Platinum End episodes
Platinum End is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. On December 2, 2020, Pony Canyon registered the "Anime-PlatinumEnd.com" domain name,[1] and on December 19, 2020, at the Jump Festa '21 online event, it was announced that the series would receive an anime television series adaptation by Signal.MD. Hideya Takahashi directed the "first series", while Kazuchika Kise is directing the "second series",[2] with series composition by Shin'ichi Inozume, and character designs by Kōji Ōdate. Masahiro Tokuda is composing the series' music.[3] The series is listed for 24 episodes,[2] and aired on TBS, BS11, and other channels from October 8, 2021, to March 25, 2022.[4][lower-alpha 1] Band-Maid performed the opening theme "Sense", while Yuu Miyashita performed the first ending theme "Kōfuku-Ron" (Theory of Surrender).[6] Kuhaku Gokko performed the second ending theme "Last Straw."[7] Crunchyroll and Funimation licensed the series outside of Asia.[8][9] Medialink licensed the series in South and Southeast Asia.[10] Disney+ Hotstar started streaming the anime weekly in select Southeast Asian regions from January 5, 2022.[11]

On October 28, 2021, Crunchyroll announced the series would receive an English dub, which premiered on November 18 of the same year.[12]

He also states that he has killed one of his enemies and is going to finish the others. Mirai, Who was watching all this, gets shocked. When Mirai returns back home, he has some doubts that if he goes out he will get picked out by this guy. Despite all the warnings he still decides to go and attend the Opening Ceremony. Serial middle school girl murderer Girl A escapes from the facility where she's being held. Mirai's group deduces that in order to lure out other God candidates, Metropoliman gave her Wings and an Arrow so she could escape. Mira despises Metropoliman's willingness to play dirty and do whatever it takes to become the next God. Eventually the first victim is found at the Grand Tower in the city, and the situation rapidly worsens. Mirai's group chooses to act to stop Girl A's murders. | ||||||

Shuji has become God, ascending into heaven as the others can do nothing but watch. There, he meets the retiring God, who cannot leave his post yet as he needs to fuse with Shuji. Helping others commit euthanasia, he has an epiphany and concludes the world would be happier in death. Several years pass, with Mirai and Saki notably becoming a couple. Shuji kills himself with a white arrow, which causes heaven and everything in it to cease to exist. All life on Earth then ceases to exist as well, leaving Earth a barren wasteland. In their final moments, Mirai and Saki accept their fate and die happily together. Unknown life forms from deep space are seen, wondering if they should plant another God and declaring that everyone ultimately desires death. |
