Kaki Thalassa

Kaki Thalassa (Greek: Κακή Θάλασσα) is a Mediterranean port town located in the municipality of Lavreotiki, East Attica, Greece, 30 km southeast of the nation's capital, Athens. Kaki Thalassa is 23 meters (75 ft) above sea level. A rural town, it had a total population of just 127 according to a 2011 Greek census.[1]

Prior to the 2011 Kallikratis local government reform program, Kaki Thalassa was part of the municipality of Keratea.[2]

The town's name, literally translated, means evil sea, from κακή (the nominative singular form of κακός), meaning bad or evil, and the (feminine gendered) noun θάλασσα, meaning sea.
