James Mullett Jr.
James Mullett, Jr. (October 13, 1784—September 10, 1858) was an American lawyer, judge, and politician from Western New York. He served two terms in the New York State Assembly (1823—1824).

Biography
Mullett was born on October 13, 1784, in Whitington, Vermont, as the eldest of 13 children of James Mullett, Sr. and Sylvinia Perry.[1] His family moved to Darien, New York and then to Fredonia, New York in 1810. He was admitted to the Chautauqua County Court of the Common Pleas in 1814 and to the New York State Supreme Court in 1816.[2]
He was elected as a member of the Bucktails and served in the 46th New York State Legislature from January 1—December 31, 1823 and in the 47th New York State Legislature from January 1—December 31, 1824, representing Chautauqua County.[2] In 1827, he again ran for Assembly as a Bucktail, but lost the election.
Mullett also served as Buffalo City Attorney in 1846 and on the New York Supreme Court in 1847.[2]
