itel Mobile is a China-based mobile phone manufacturer company that was founded by Lei Weiguo and Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Co Limited in March 2014,[1] and is headquartered in Shenzhen, China.[2]

Their products are mainly sold in China and parts of Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and Latin America. It mainly sells low budget smartphones, feature phones and lately, television sets and laptops.[3][4][5]
Itel targets a specific part of society (mainly the middle class) that cannot afford the expensive phones available on the market. So they bought low-budget feature phones or smartphones from cheap manufacturing companies, and that's why the company focuses on developing markets.
