According to the Journal Citation Reports the journal had a 2021 impact factor of 4.614, ranking it 100th out of 279 journals in the category "Environmental Sciences" and 71st out of 203 journals in the category "Public, Environmental & Occupational Health".[10] In February 2023, Clarivate delisted the journal in its main citation indexes (Science Citation Index Expanded and Social Sciences Citation Index); a delisted journal does not receive rank metrics such as a Clarivate journal impact factor.[8]
