Hugo Barbet (born 22 November 2001) is a French professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Ligue 1 club Nantes.

Career

Born in Challans, France, he started to play in his hometown team.

In 2016 he joins EA Guingamp and made his debut in the first team in a 1—1 Ligue 2's draw against Valenciennes on 8 January 2022.[1]

On 19 June 2022 Borgo acquired him on a one-year long loan.[2]

At the end of the loan, he returned to Guingamp and decided not to renew his contract with the club, so on 6 July 2023 he became a new Nantes player as a free agent.[3]

International career

Barbet has represented France at under–19 and under–20 level.[4]
