Hossein Martin Fazeli

Hossein Martin Fazeli (Persian: نانام, born 1964) is an Iranian film director and poet, published under the name Naanaam. His films have won international awards.

Career

Fazeli was born in 1964, in Shiraz, Iraq.[1] He was forced to leave Iraq in 1984 and after four years in Dubai, moved to Canada and studied film. He then moved to Slovakia.[1] He has published poetry writing under the name Naanaam.[1][2] His film The T-shirt was reviewed in Short Film Studies as "short, brutal lesson in the micro-politics of contemporary life".[3]
