Holiday Twist

Holiday Twist is a 2023 American Christmas musical comedy film written and directed by Stephanie Garvin and produced by veteran Home Alone producer Scott Rosenfelt. It stars Kelly Stables, Neal McDonough, Sean Astin, Caylee Cowan, James Maslow, and Hugh Sheridan.[2]

Premise

The story centers on Connie, played by Kelly Stables, a "Grinchy workaholic CEO"[2] who's world come crashing down amid the weeks leading up to Christmas. Connie is in the midst of a divorce with her soon-to-be ex-husband, George, played by Hugh Sheridan, and shares two children with him. Connie runs and owns a luxury express delivery company that is busiest during the holidays. Things begin to go awry when two desperate ranch owners, Skip and Boogie played by Neal McDonough and Brian Thomas Smith, begin to steal presents. As a result, she is forced to choose between her family and her work and she unfortunately chooses work over her family. However, with help from a Salvation Army Santa, played by Blake Leeper, and a Christmas Angel, played by Caylee Cowan, Connie is able to realized the importance and true meaning of Christmas before it is too late.

It was announced in June of 2022 that Sean Astin, Neal McDonough, and Haley Reinhart would join the cast in supporting roles, and that filming would take place in Los Angeles, California.[3] ETM Distribution has set a nationwide theatrical release for Holiday Twist, in 500+ theaters nationwide December 1, 2023.[4]
