Gorton and Denton (UK Parliament constituency)
Gorton and Denton is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament. Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested at the next general election.[1]
Contents
The constituency will comprise the following areas:
- Gorton, Levenshulme and Longsight, currently part of the (to be abolished) constituency of Manchester Gorton
- Burnage, transferred from Manchester Withington
- The three wards which make up the town of Denton, currently part of the (to be abolished) constituency of Denton and Reddish
