FirstCry is an Indian e-commerce company, headquartered in Pune. The company, launched in 2010, initially focused on baby products retailing. In January 2020, the company had over 380 stores across India.[1] FirstCry opened its first outlet in Srinagar in May 2019.[2] It is into its series E round of financing.[3]

Mergers and acquisitions
In 2016 FirstCry acquired BabyOye, owned by the Mahindra Group, for ₹362 crore (equivalent to ₹520 crore or US$65 million in 2023).[1][4] The merged entity now does business under the name FirstCry.com, a FirstCry Mahindra Venture.[5][6] The company acquired playschool company Oi Playschool.[7][8]
Funding
FirstCry raised INR 95 Cr ($13 Mn) in an equity funding round from pi Ventures.[9]
