Esquimalt Lagoon Migratory Bird Sanctuary
The Esquimalt Lagoon Migratory Bird Sanctuary is a migratory bird sanctuary near Esquimalt Harbour in Colwood, British Columbia. It is a popular place for birdwatching.[1] In addition to the numerous species of birds which frequent the site over the winter, the lagoon is also home to cutthroat trout and coho salmon.[2] Pacific herring also spawn in nearby waters.[3]
