Elwood College
Elwood College is a co-educational state high school in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The school was founded in 1957 and was originally named Elwood High School. It has more than 700 students, including many who live in the surrounding area and many international students. The school's former principal was Rhonda Holt, and the current principal is Todd Asensio. In its curriculum, there is English, mathematics, humanities, health, technology, physical education, music, art, Japanese and French. Middle school students can choose whatever subjects they want to out of a total of 47 subjects, provided that they choose 6 subjects for each semester, and VCE students can choose out of a total of 29 subjects. Additionally, students can choose to learn a musical instrument if they wish, and there are many choices of instruments available, such as the flute, clarinet, saxophone, and many more.
