Elinore Blaisdell
Elinore Blaisell (15 October 1900, Brooklyn, New York – 1994) was an American illustrator known for her work on Bulfinch's Mythology (1947), Charles Lamb and Mary Lamb's Tales from Shakespeare, Louisa May Alcott's Little Women, and A. E. Housman's A Shropshire Lad (1932).
Blaisdell was a student of Robert Brackman at the Art Students League, and studied drawing with Naum Los. She attended the Slade School of Art in London.[1]
Personal life
She married Melrich "Mike" Vonelm Rosenberg (d. 1937) in 1928. She never married again and had no children.[2] She illustrated his books, Falcon, Fly Back, and A Child's Life of Jesus.
